Community Emergency Service is nonprofit crisis relief and empowerment ministry serving Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. Founded in 1971 by Pastor William Berg originally as outreach of Augustana Lutheran Church. Offers emergency aid in food, housing, transportation, utilities. Operates mobile food shelf in North Minneapolis, Meals on Wheels, Fare for All, free legal counsel.
