Center for Asians and Pacific Islanders (CAPI) founded in 1982 when Hmong, Vietnamese, and Laotian refugees came to US, particularly Minnesota. Offers culturally connected cuisine to Asian American and Pacific Islander immigrants. Serves more than 10,000 immigrants and refugees in Hennepin County. Advances prosperity for immigrants through holistic support and community-driven initiatives.
