
Wesley Community Service Center
Wesley Community Service Center, established in 1937 by United Methodist Women, operates programs and services aimed at empowering the powerless and poor in Portsmouth's Southside communities through Christian-based services. Services include emergency financial assistance to prevent eviction and utility shut off, guardianship services, home delivered meals to homebound individuals, and free lunches prepared every Wednesday for delivery to more than 50 households.
