M-DC CAHS Violence Prevention and Intervention Coordinated Victims Assistance Center (CVAC) is a one-stop facility offering wrap-around services for victims of violence, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. The walk-in center provides assistance to all victims and their children with many agencies collocated to make it easier to get help. Miami-Dade CAHSD operates four certified domestic violence shelters and two transitional housing programs.
